UPDATE 12/18/10, 10:18 AM – Late Friday the UCI Police issued this update to Turner’s case: “As an update to the domestic violence crime that occurred Wednesday, December 15, 2010, the suspect in the case has been found deceased by UCI Police Officers in the San Juan Capistrano area.”

The UCI Police are asking for your help in finding Gregory Turner. Turner is wanted for attempted murder. If you see Turner or his blue 2006 Chevy Silverado truck, CA plate 8P53538  please call 911 or the UCI Irvine Police Department at (949) 824-5223.

From the press release: “On December 15, 2010, at approximately 2:20 p.m., the UCI Police Department responded to a domestic violence report in Verano Place Housing. Officers arrived at the location and determined the husband, Gregory Scott Turner, had attempted to murder the victim by strangulation. Turner, a Caucasian male, 33 years old of age, and a UCI student, fled the scene in a blue Chevrolet pickup truck, California license plate 8P53538. Later that afternoon, Turner made statements to a friend that he wants to commit suicide.”
